Something Funny...

This show is about a struggling stand-up comedian meeting a gentleman in the hospital while she visits her mother, who is struggling with cancer. They dislike each other at first, but soon grow closer over the course of the play.
The lighting in this show needed to be hospital-like, but also dynamic enough to bring the audience into the intended mood of each scene. There were several funny moments, and also some very intense moments. The lights were also utilized to shift focus between the two hospital beds at different moments.
